2019 SUMMER SATURDAYS HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Summer Saturdays is a fun and encouraging atmosphere for skaters to develop the necessary skating ability and fundamental skill needed to play hockey. Program runs June 22 – August 17.
Our Summer Saturday Hockey programs include:
Rookies 9:00-9:50am | $200 for 9 Sessions or $30 Walk-On | An introductory hockey program designed for beginning players ages 8 & under who are just becoming acquainted with the stick and puck.
Juniors 9:00-9:50am | $200 for 9 Sessions or $30 Walk-On | A learn-to-play program for ages 10 & under. Class is designed to develop the proper skating ability necessary for fun and competitive gameplay. Class will also cover fundamental skills including stickhandling & shooting.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Learn to Skate and/or participation in Dynamites or equivalent beginner hockey class.
Learn to Play Hockey 10:00–11:00am | $250 for 9 Sessions or $40 Walk-On | A fundamental Hockey clinic designed for the beginner/intermediate player ages 10 and over. It’s never too late to get started! This clinic is designed to fast-track the late beginner to hockey competitiveness! Focus on skating and mobility while developing individual stick sills and play in a series of small area games – the most FUN way to develop hockey sense! Except to sweat!
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Learn to Skate, beginner hockey class or equivalent.
Advanced Development 10:00-11:00am | $250 for 9 Sessions or $40 Walk-On | Designed for the player looking to improve upon existing skills, this is the perfect skate for the travel level player or travel hopeful keen on improving their overall game. This clinic consists of challenging drills for individual skills and unique small area games and competitions to accelerate the development of hockey sense and competitiveness.
Prerequisites: Participation in local travel or house program or equivalent
Full Equipment is required for all Hockey Development Clinics.
