Summer Hockey Programs 2022
For over 20 years, Twin Rinks Summer Hockey Programs have provided the highest level of coaching along with elite training for players of all ages and abilities. It’s Twin Rink’s mission to provide superior hockey instruction for motivated players who want to reach their potential. Twin Rinks boasts an elite coaching staff of veteran local coaches who are passionate about passing on their knowledge and skills to the next generation of hockey players.
- All clinics will be run by the Twin Rinks Professional Hockey staff. This staff will include John Miserendino, Chris Gragnano, Victor Baryshevstev, Jordan Brickner, Corey Badeau, Chris Furtak, Sarah Hughson & more. Check out their bios here.

Hockey Training Camps
Week-long Training Camps are intended for travel-level players intent on improving their skills in a competitive, challenging, and fun environment. Training Camps feature a multitude of different coaches & specialties on a weekly basis for a wide range of training options. Off-ice sessions are designed to enhance a player’s on-ice performance. Full-Day & Half-Day Options are available. There’s no typical day of camp, but check out a sample schedule:

June 13-16 | Girls Showcase Camp
Full Day: 9:00am-3:00pm

Girls Showcase Camp is an all-girls camp focusing on individual and team skill development in a challenging and fun environment, culminating with our Girls Showcase Tournament the weekend of June 17-19. Led by NHL Skills coach Chris Gragnano and NWHL Pro Sarah Hughson this week is an excellent experience for travel girl’s players.
- Girls Showcase Tournament Participants are highly encouraged to attend this week!
- Participation in the tournament is not required to attend camp. All Travel Girls players are welcome!
Prerequisites: 2013-2008 Girls Players Only. Players Must be rostered on a club travel team for the 2022/23 season in order to attend. Open to 16U tournament team players as well.

June 20-24 | Pro Style Development Week
Full Day: 9:00am-3:00pm
Half Days: 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:00pm-3:00pm
Invest a week of your time and come out a better player, guaranteed. Take advantage of this week of camp where players will simulate a pro-style training camp with on-ice skill development and off-ice athleticism training and skill work. 2 On-Ice sessions daily for over 3 hours of ice time each day. Players are separated into groups by age and ability.
Prerequisites: Travel Players Only, 2015-2008 Birth Years. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.
June 27-July 1 | Impact Skills Week 1

Focus on the skills that Impact! Join Coach Corey Badeau and the group for a week of complete skill set training in an active team environment. This week will focus on the skills that translate directly to your in-game performance with drills that simulate in-game scenarios along with small area games and scrimmages. 2 On-Ice sessions daily for over 3 hours of ice time each day. Players are separated into groups by age and ability.
Prerequisites: Travel Players Only, 2015-2008 Birth Years. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.
July 5-8 | Goalie & Shooter Camp
Full Day: 9:00am-3:00pm
Half Days: 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:00pm-3:00pm
One of our most popular offerings; a split camp between goalies and shooters wherein groups train separately and together to achieve a common goal. Goalie Camp, led by the goalie coaches at CT Crease, will provide your young goaltender with professional coaching. Shooters will work with Twin Rinks Hockey Department coaches and EHL All-Stars Lucas Baksay and Dominic Civitano. A limited number of shooter spots available to maximize instruction. 2 On-Ice sessions daily for over 3 hours of ice time each day. Players are separated into groups by age and ability.
Prerequisites: Travel Players Only, 2015-2008 Birth Years. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.

July 11-15 | Victory On Ice Camp w/ Victor Baryshevstev
Full Day: 9:00am-3:00pm

An active, challenging, and FUN clinic with Victor! Victory on Ice, led by former professional skater Victor Baryshevstev, utilizes proven international training techniques, drills, and games that have helped develop some of the most highly skilled prep, college, and professional players. 2 On-Ice sessions daily for over 3 hours of ice time each day. Players are separated into groups by age and ability.
Prerequisites: Travel Players Only, 2015-2008 Birth Years. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.
July 18-22 | Young Guns Hockey
Full Day: 9:00am-3:00pm
Half Days: 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:00pm-3:00pm
Professional coaching, training, and fun specifically tailored to players 8 & Under. Give your young player the opportunity to train like the pros train, where the pros train. Camp includes a full regiment of power skating, stick skills, shooting, and team play as well as small area competitions and scrimmages. Off-ice work includes training shooting, puck control, and general athleticism; perfect for developing young athletes. 2 On-Ice sessions daily for over 3 hours of ice time each day. Players are separated into groups by age and ability.
Prerequisites: Open to 2016-2014 Birth Years. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.
July 25-29 | Advanced Development Week
Full Day: 9:00am-3:00pm
Half Days: 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:00pm-3:00pm
Individual development for the travel hockey player intent on improving upon and adding to their existing skillset. Intended for travel players, Advanced development week will maximize puck-on-stick time with an intentional focus on a player’s ability to make plays with the puck. 2 On-Ice sessions daily for over 3 hours of ice time each day. Players are separated into groups by age and ability.
Prerequisites: Travel Players Only, 2015-2008 Birth Years. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.
August 1-5 | Impact Skills Week

Individual Powerskating and training for players looking to be difference-makers for their teams. Camp is primarily focused on edgework, proper stride, balance, stability, explosiveness & quickness. Expect an array of skating drills and training techniques accompanied by some good old-fashioned conditioning. We’re creating players that can do it all in a fast-paced game. Hit your season in stride!
Prerequisites: Travel Players Only, 2015-2008 Birth Years. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.
August 15-19 | Prep Week for Peewee-HS
Peewees & Bantams: Morning Session 9:00am-10:50am
High School Group: Afternoon Sessions 1:10pm-3:00pm
A Complete skills camp in a prep hockey environment focused on training the pillars of individual skill. Players will train in skating, puck control, and shooting in both on-ice and off-ice sessions as well as compete in several scrimmages throughout the week.
Prerequisites: Peewee/Bantam Group is limited to travel players only. High School Group limited to 07-04 Birth Years. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.
August 22-26 | Travel Tune Up Week
Mites & Squirts: Morning Session 9:00am-10:50am
Peewees & Bantams: Afternoon Session 1:10pm-3:00pm
LAST CHANCE to get dialed in for your upcoming season! A week-long camp designed to train and test players with a variety of individual and team-based skill training and competitive scrimmages in order to best prepare players to start their season off on the right foot. The tune-Up coaching staff includes Twin Rinks professional staff along with USA Hockey certified local youth coaches. Travel players only.
Prerequisites: Travel Players Only. Older or Younger players may attend pending approval from Twin Rinks Hockey Department.
Future Stars Camps
Week-long Future Stars camps for players who want to spend time on the ice practicing & playing hockey in a fun environment. Intended for beginner and novice hockey players looking to have fun and improve their skating and playing skills in a less intense environment. Required equipment includes Gloves, Helmet with full face mask, Skates, Stick & Shinguards. Full equipment is suggested but not required. There’s no typical day of camp, but check out a sample schedule:

Summer Youth League serves as an opportunity for players to practice and play throughout the summer months. Two weekly practices during the week focus on individual & team skills & skating. Games on Saturdays provide players with an opportunity to get out and just PLAY! Players have the option to enroll in the full program OR any combination of days.
What to expect from Summer Youth League:
Practices during the week focus on individual & team skills, led by Twin Rink’s professional coaching staff.
Saturday Games: Teams are made based on attendance. Games are played at full ice, half ice, or cross-ice depending on turnout. There is no coaching and no scorekeeping. These are FUN and casual games organized and supervised by Twin Rinks staff.
All participants receive a Twin Rinks Jersey for practices & Games!
Prerequisites: Intended for 2015-2008 birth years at the travel & rec league level. Exceptions may be made pending approval of the Twin Rinks Hockey Department.

3v3 is one of our most popular & fun spring offerings now split into Mite/Squirt and Peewee/Bantam sessions! Players are split into groups by age and ability.

A Hockey program designed for the novice & intermediate players age 8 & Under who have already been acquainted with a stick and puck. ‘Rookies’ focuses on the skating and skill development necessary for our youngest players! Tuesdays & Thursdays are composed of skating, skills, and drills. Saturdays are small area x-ice games & fun!
Prerequisites: Completion of Dynamites, Mini-Mites, Mighty Mites, or equivalent beginner hockey program. ‘Rookies’ Intended for 2016-14 Birth year players. Younger/older players may be permitted pending approval by Hockey Department.

A beginner goalie program designed for players 8 & Under. Class is designed to introduce & develop goaltending techniques in a fun & active environment! Players will receive instruction for roughly ½ of each clinic, before getting in the net for drills to practice on live shooters. Get your little goalie off to the best possible start! Pure Power-skating w/ Seth Michelson

This no-frills power skating clinic will emphasize proper edge control, explosive acceleration, weight transfer, and balance. Players will focus on maximizing their forward and backward stride along with some good old-fashioned hard skating & conditioning. Do you have what it takes to keep up? Ages: 2014 & Up.
Prerequisites: Intended for 2015-2008 birth years. ’14 Birth years must be rostered on a travel A1 team or higher to attend. Exceptions may be made pending approval from the Twin Rinks hockey department.
Learn to Play hockey – All Ages

An introductory hockey class for beginners of all ages. Players will start to learn the foundational skills that are crucial to success in hockey including:
Skating fundamentals such as stopping, turning, pivoting, and proper hockey position and stride.
Puck Control & Stick handling, shooting & passing.
Ideal for beginners of all ages! Groups are separated by age and ability. Led by our professional Twin Rinks Hockey coaching staff!
Prerequisites: Learn to play hockey is intended for all ages 4-15. Older/Younger players may attend pending approval of Twin Rinks Hockey Staff. Required equipment includes Helmet with full face mask, hockey gloves, stick, skates & shin guards. Though not required, full hockey equipment is highly recommended. No skating or hockey experience is required.
Victory on Ice w/ Victor Baryshevstev

Get the repetition and instruction needed to take your stickhandling & shooting skills to the next level. The clinic will focus on teaching proper technique & fundamentals and conduct quick & repetitive drills to build strength & muscle memory. The clinic will also have components in which participants are challenged with advanced & creative drills and games.
Prerequisites: Intended for 2014-2008 birth years. ’14 Birth years must be rostered on a travel A1 team or higher to attend. Exceptions may be made pending approval from the Twin Rinks hockey department.
Advanced Development
Saturdays | June 25-August 20 | 9:00am-10:00am | $400
Single Class: $60
Intensely and intently train the skills that separate. Classes focus on developing proper skating ability, puck control, shooting fundamentals, and 1v1 competition.
Prerequisites: Intended for 2015-2008 birth years. ’15 and ’14 Birth years must be rostered on a travel A1 team or higher to attend. Exceptions may be made pending approval from the Twin Rinks hockey department.
