All participants must PRE-REGISTER online for Clinic sessions. Single Class online registration is available for all clinics.  Walk-on registrations, if available, will incur a walk-on fee. 

 

CT Breakers Spring Hockey Teams

Connecticut Breakers teams provide players a twice-weekly opportunity to improve their skills in an active, competitive team environment. CT Breakers teams focus on teaching individual skills AND team tactics, making for a complete development experience. All Breakers coaches are head coaches for the top teams at their respective age groups during the fall/winter season, exposing all players to the expectations and demands of competitive Travel hockey. 

  • Two 70 Minute Practices per week for up to 13 weeks
  • Tournament & Game Opportunities
  • Teams at the Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam & Midget 18U levels
  • *NEW* Girls Teams at 10U, 12U and 14U

Breakers Preseason: March 14-March 30 Preseason skates are included with your Breakers Season registration, but can also be registered for on their own with no commitment to the full season. Meet the coaches; get in an extra 3 weeks of skating. If you decide you want to continue, the cost of preseason will be applied to your full registration!

Train with renowned prep, college and professional skills instructor and founder of Total Hockey Development Chris Gragnano. Twice-weekly high paced skill clinics designed for the motivated travel player. Separate groups for Mites, Squirts, Peewees, Bantams & Prep Elite.

A Hockey program designed for the beginner & intermediate player age 8 & Under who have already been acquainted with a stick and puck. ‘Rookies’ focuses on the skating and skill development necessary for our youngest players! Tuesdays & Thursdays composed of skating, skills and drills. Saturdays are small area x-ice games & fun!

Prerequisite: Completion of Dynamites, Mini-Mites, Mighty Mites, or equivalent program. ‘Rookies’ Intended for 2016-14 Birth year players. Younger/older players may be permitted pending approval by Hockey Department.

Intro to Goalie

A beginner goalie program designed for players 8 & Under. Class is designed to introduce & develop goaltending technique in a fun & active environment! Players will receive instruction for roughly ½ of each clinic, before getting in net for drills to practice on live shooters. Get your little goalie off to the best possible start! Rental equipment available if needed!

Stickhandling & Shooting Clinic

Fridays March 18-May 27 6:20pm-7:20pm $500 11 sessions
Single Class: $60

Get the repetition and instruction needed to take your stickhandling & shooting skills to the next level. Clinic will focus on teaching proper technique & fundamentals and conduct quick & repetitive drills to build strength & muscle memory. Clinic will also have components in which participants are challenged with advanced & creative drills and games. 

Friday Night 3v3

Fridays March 18-May 27 7:30pm-8:50pm $350
Single Class: $40

One of our most popular & fun spring offerings. Play in small areas with lots of puck touches! 3v3 provides players an opportunity to just PLAY. No offsides, icing, officiating, score-keeping or coaching. Players are split into groups by age and ability.

  • 3 cross-ice zones
  • Rotating Regular shifts for equal ice time
  • Supervised by Twin Rinks staff

Russian Hockey School

Sundays March 20-May 29 4:00pm-5:10pm $525

An active, challenging and FUN clinic with Victor! The Russian Hockey School, Lead by Victor Baryshevstev, utilizes proven international training techniques that have helped develop some of the most highly skilled hockey players in the sport world.

Goalie Clinic w/ CT Crease

Sundays March 20-May 29 4:10pm-5:10pm $500 11 sessions
Single Class: $60

Goalie-Specific training powered by CT Crease. Clinic will focus on the fundamental skills & techniques which are vital to goaltending success. Clinic will include but is not limited to: Angles & Positioning, Speed & Depth, Situational Awareness & Timing, and Technique & compete level. All Ages. 

Advanced Development w/ Chris Furtak

Mite, Squirt, Peewee: Saturdays March 19-May 28 10:10am-11:10am $525 11 sessions
Single Class: $60

Intensely and intently train the skills that separate.  Classes focus on developing proper skating ability, puck control, shooting fundamentals and 1v1 competition. 

Prerequisites: Intended for 2015-2010 birth years. ’15 and ’14 Birth years must be rostered on a travel A1 team or higher to attend. Exceptions may be made pending approval from Twin Rinks hockey department.

Pure Powerskating w/ Seth Michelson

Saturdays – All Ages March 19-May 28 11:20am-12:20pm $525 11 Sessions
Single Class: $60

This no-frills power skating clinic will emphasize proper edge control, explosive acceleration, weight transfer, and balance. Players will focus on maximizing their forward and backward stride along with some good old-fashioned hard skating & conditioning. Do you have what it takes to keep up? 

Prerequisites: Intended for travel level players. ’15 and ’14 Birth years MUST be rostered on a travel team to attend. Exceptions may be made pending approval from Twin Rinks hockey department.
