Spring Hockey 2022
Twin Rinks Hockey Programs have provided the highest level of coaching along with elite training for players of all ages and abilities for over 20 years. It’s Twin Rink’s mission to provide superior hockey instruction for motivated players who want to reach their full potential. All participants must PRE-REGISTER online for hockey programming. Single Class pre-registration is available online for all clinics. Walk-On spots are limited and will incur a walk-on fee. DYHA members receive a 15% discount on Full season Breakers registrations and 10% on full clinic registrations. No discounts will be applied to single-class registrations.
CT Breakers Spring Hockey Teams
Connecticut Breakers teams provide players a twice-weekly opportunity to improve their skills in an active, competitive team environment. CT Breakers teams focus on teaching individual skills AND team tactics, making for a complete development experience. All Breakers coaches are head coaches for the top teams at their respective age groups during the Fall/Winter season, exposing all players to the expectations and demands of competitive Travel hockey.

Prerequisites: It is highly suggested that players have been rostered on a travel team for the 2021/22 Winter season, or be rostered on a travel team for the upcoming 2022/23 season to participate in CT Breakers. 2015 Mite Players who have not tried out for the winter season yet must be ready for travel hockey competition and environment.

Train with renowned prep, college, and NHL professional skills instructor and founder of Total Hockey Development Chris Gragnano whose clients include Norris Trophy winner Adam Fox, current NHL goals leader Chris Kreider, Trevor Zegras, and many more. “Grags” also serves as the head coach of Mid-Fairfield’s ’06, 16U & 18U teams. These high-paced skill clinics are designed for the elite & motivated travel hockey player. Separate groups for Peewees, Bantams & Prep Elite Players.

A Hockey program designed for the beginner & intermediate players age 8 & Under who have already been acquainted with a stick and puck. ‘Rookies’ focuses on the skating and skill development necessary for our youngest players! Tuesdays & Thursdays are composed of skating, skills, and drills. Saturdays are small area x-ice games & fun!
Prerequisites: Completion of Dynamites, Mini-Mites, Mighty Mites, or equivalent beginner hockey program. ‘Rookies’ Intended for 2016-14 Birth year players. Younger/older players may be permitted pending approval by Hockey Department.
Intro to Goalie
A beginner goalie program designed for players 8 & Under. Class is designed to introduce & develop goaltending techniques in a fun & active environment! Players will receive instruction for roughly ½ of each clinic, before getting in net for drills to practice on live shooters. Get your little goalie off to the best possible start! Stickhandling & Shooting Clinic

Get the repetition and instruction needed to take your stickhandling & shooting skills to the next level. The clinic will focus on teaching proper technique & fundamentals and conduct quick & repetitive drills to build strength & muscle memory. The clinic will also have components in which participants are challenged with advanced & creative drills and games.

Friday Night 3v3

3v3 is one of our most popular & fun spring offerings. Play in small areas with lots of puck touches! 3v3 provides players an opportunity to just PLAY. No offsides, icing, officiating, scorekeeping, or coaching. Players are split into groups by age and ability.

Advanced Development w/ Chris Furtak
Travel Mites – Peewee

Intensely and intently train the skills that separate. Classes focus on developing proper skating ability, puck control, shooting fundamentals, and 1v1 competition.

Pure Powerskating w/ Seth Michelson

This no-frills power skating clinic will emphasize proper edge control, explosive acceleration, weight transfer, and balance. Players will focus on maximizing their forward and backward stride along with some good old-fashioned hard skating & conditioning. Do you have what it takes to keep up? Ages: 2014 & Up.

Victory On Ice

An active, challenging, and FUN clinic with Victor! The Russian Hockey School, led by Victor Baryshevstev, utilizes proven international training techniques that have helped develop some of the most highly skilled hockey players in the sports world.

Goalie Clinic w/ CT Crease

Goalie-Specific training powered by CT Crease. The clinic will focus on the fundamental skills & techniques which are vital to goaltending success. The pros at CT Crease will also work on Angles & Positioning, Speed & Depth, Situational Awareness & Timing, and Technique & compete level. All Ages welcome.
