NEW at TWIN RINKS! Our figure skating spinning simulator is an innovative training system created for aspiring skaters. The simulator will allow the skater to improve their sense of coordination, which is necessary for all aspects of figure skating.
With direction of Marina Spagnuolo and our professional staff, our Jump & Spin Clinic will help the skater achieve proper spin technique. This class will offer a variety of off-ice jump and spin techniques through the use of the spinner and off-ice harness, allowing the skaters to transition these techniques to on-ice.
Clinic will feature:
- ON-ICE SKILL DEVELOPMENT: Our professional coaches will teach the core principles of Spinning & Jumping.
- OFF-ICE JUMP TECHNIQUES: Learn proper form and technique. Perfect your rotations by working on a mix of quickness and timing exercises.
- SPINNER & HARNESS: Work on your balance, form, and proper air position.
- MOBILITY & COOL-DOWN: Learn how to properly stretch and cool-down to help with recovery.
- 8:00am – Arrival
- 8:05am – 8:45 am – Off-ice
- 9:00am – 9:50 am – On-ice
- 10:00am – 10:50 am – Off-ice
- 11:00am – Dismissal
Recommended for skaters who have passed BASIC 5 & have a serious interest in figure skating.
