Twin Rinks Hockey Programs have provided the highest level of coaching along with elite training for players of all ages and abilities for 27 years. It’s Twin Rink’s mission to provide superior hockey instruction for motivated players who want to reach their full potential. Led by NJ Devils Skills Coach and Midfairfield Head Coach Chris Gragnano, these clinics offer youth players a unique chance to work with one of the area’s most accomplished coaches. Coach Gragnano brings his professional expertise to focus on all essential hockey skills, helping players elevate their game to the next level.

Prerequisites: Total Skills Youth Clinics are intended for competitive travel players at the A level and above. Prep Elite is limited to NEPSIHA players and similar. Motivated players at a lower level may attend pending approval of the Twin Rinks Hockey Department.

Rookies 

A Hockey program designed for beginner and intermediate players aged 8 & Under who have already been acquainted with a stick and puck. ‘Rookies’ focuses on the skating and skill development necessary for our youngest players! Practices include an array of skating, stick skills, shooting and battle drills. Weekend games are cross-ice for more action and puck touches. Clinic is led by John Miserendino and Twin Rinks champion professional coaching staff.

Prerequisites: Intended for 2020-2017 Birth year players. Prior Completion of Dynamites, Mini-Mites, Mighty Mites, or equivalent beginner/intermediate hockey program is highly recommended. Not intended for first timers. Younger/older players may be permitted pending approval by Hockey Department. Players are separated into groups by age and ability. 

Friday Night Skills Clinic

Fridays | March 28-May 16 | 5:10pm-6:20pm

This session focuses on all essential hockey skills, providing players with the perfect opportunity to sharpen their game in a fun and energetic environment. Whether you’re looking to fine-tune your technique or build confidence on the ice, our Friday night clinic is the ideal way to start your weekend right. Combo with Friday Night Pond Hockey for extra ice time and savings. 

Prerequisites: Intended for 2018-2011 birth years. ’18 Birth years must be rostered on a travel  team to attend. Exceptions may be made pending approval from the Twin Rinks hockey department. Players are separated into groups by age and ability. 

Friday Night Pond Hockey

Fridays | March 28-May 16 | 6:30pm-7:40pm

Pond Hockey is one of our most popular & fun spring offerings. Play in small areas with lots of puck touches! Pond Hockey provides players an opportunity to just PLAY. No offsides, icing, officiating, scorekeeping, or coaching. Players are split into groups by age and ability. Combo your Registration with Friday Night Skills for extra ice time & savings. 

  • 3 cross-ice zones
  • Rotating Regular shifts for equal ice time
  • Goalies Skate Free!

  • Great for travel players looking for a fun extra hour of ice

All Girls Clinic

Join us for our All-Girls Skills Clinic, focusing on all essential hockey skills in a supportive and inclusive environment where players can build their confidence and take their game to the next level. Whether you’re refining your fundamentals or striving to sharpen your competitive edge, our all-girls clinic offers the perfect opportunity to grow as a player and connect with other girls who share your passion for hockey.

Advanced Development w/ Chris Furtak

Saturdays | April 5- May 17 | 10:10am-11:10am

Intensely and intently train the skills that separate.  Classes focus on developing proper skating ability, puck control, shooting fundamentals, and 1v1 competition. Coach Chris designs his clinics with activity in mind!

Prerequisites: Intended for 2018-2011 birth year travel hockey players. ’18 Birth years must be rostered on a travel A team or higher to attend. Exceptions may be made pending approval from the Twin Rinks hockey department. Players are separated into groups by age and ability. 

Stickhandling & Passing Workshop w/ Devin Edgerton

Advanced stickhandling and passing and techniques taught by Devin Edgerton. Devin Edgerton has played in over 800 professional games including stints in the ECHL, IHL, and Germany’s top league, the DEL. Since beginning his coaching career, Devin has worked with numerous prep, college, and professional players both domestically and internationally.

Saturdays | April 5 – May 17 | 11:20am-12:20pm

Prerequisites: Intended for 2014-2011 birth year travel hockey players. Exceptions may be made pending approval from the Twin Rinks hockey department.

Goalie Clinic w/ CT Crease

Goalie-Specific training powered by CT Crease. The clinic will focus on the fundamental skills & techniques which are vital to goaltending success. The pros at CT Crease will also work on Angles & Positioning, Speed & Depth, Situational Awareness & Timing, and Technique & compete level. 

Sundays | March 30 – May 18 | 12:30pm-1:30pm

Hockey Basics Plus+ w/ Brooke Heron

Hockey Basics Plus is intended for house league and intermediate players ages 9 & up who want to develop their skills and build confidence on the ice. This program combines fundamental hockey techniques with opportunities to introduce more advanced concepts, making it ideal for players who want to refine their game. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your skills for your current league or take steps toward a higher level of play, “Hockey Basics Plus” offers something for everyone.

Adult Instructional Clinic & Pond Hockey

Whether you’re a latecomer to the game, returning after a break, or just want to sharpen your skills, our program has you covered. We provide a friendly environment for players of all levels, offering personalized instruction and controlled scrimmages. Choose between Full Registration or Single Session Registration. Led by our experienced coaching staff including Brett Farson, John Miserendino, John O’Neill & others.

NEW For Spring 2025: Adult Pond Hockey!

Adult Pond Hockey is a FUN, recreational, pickup style game intended for novice-intermediate hockey players.

  • Teams are made pickup style each session
  • Games are 3v3 or 4v4 cross-ice games
  • Nets/Goals vary from pond hockey box nets & full nets w/ shooter tutors & targets
  • Goalies are welcome and skate free
  • No Score is kept, there are no officials & no coaching. Hockey in it’s purest form!
  • Monitored by Twin Rinks Hockey Staff
  • Full Equipment is Required

Jagged Edge Powerskating w/ Kirstyn Nanista

Advanced power skating development sessions led by decorated champion skater Kirstyn Nanista. Coach Nanista excels at blending precision with power, helping players refine every stride. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a competitive edge!

Victory on Ice w/ Victor Baryshevtsev
